"Very nice hotel overlooking the coast. Rooms were comfortable - bed and pillows. Bathroom was dated but immaculate and spotless. No air con in room, just a fan and as we were there during the heatwave, sleeping was tricky. Despite thick curtains/window blind the room was oppressively hot. Food was good and the staff friendly and attentive. The hotel is on quite a busy road so you get quite a lot of traffic noise if your room is sea facing. M&S food hall was 5 minutes away and bus stops right...

"Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, Bushaltestellen sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und das Meer direkt vor der Tür. Das Einzelzimmer war etwas klein und die Auswahl beim Frühstück war recht überschaubar und wenig abwechslungsreich. Wir haben einmal im Hotel zu Abend gegessen, was sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Für einen Jersey Besuch kann ich das Hotel empfehlen. Sehr zuvorkommendes und freundliches Personal."

"Modern facilities with old-fashioned charm. The rooms are a good size; we had a view of the garden which was very pleasant. All the staff were cheerful and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is decked out in crisp white table cloths with smartly dressed waiters. Both the garden bar and the terrace at the front of the hotel with beautiful views across the bay are both lovely places to enjoy a drink. The outdoor pool looked good though we didn't use it. "The room was okay but did not feel like a premium room. It felt a bit tired with a few trip hazzards i.e. lamp cable plus chipped tile in bathroom needs attention. No separate shower or non slip mat. It was difficult getting in and out of the bath. Room was not made up during our stay. However Chloe was very helpful."

"The amazing views over St Brelade's Bay make this a really special place. There's a large patio and upper patio with comfortable seating where you can eat and drink and relax in this wonderful setting. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Food was delicious. Staff all friendly and helpful. There's a bus stop right outside so easy access into St Helier and Corbiere. I'd love to return."

"This is our 2nd time staying at De L'Etang. We like the comfortable & clean room, friendly & helpful staff, good breakfast options & delicious Greek food in the attached Taverna! Close to St Helier & bus routes. Wonderful outlook over the beach. When we next have a holiday in Jersey, we will happily book De L'Etang again."

"No air con & record temperatures made life very uncomfortable. Breakfast was excellent with good selection of hot & cold food, All staff were well trained & friendly & very helpful. Our main problem was our room was at the front corner of hotel overlooking a main road & roundabout,the traffic noise was really loud and did not subside until after midnight,the hotel was full until our final day so changing rooms was not an option."
