"The Kontiki was an amazing experience. The staff was amazing on approach. From the cold coconut on arrival to the birthday decorations for my lady's B-Day Celebration. The room was immaculate. The rainfall shower was pleasant. The Marshall speaker kept us jamming all vacation. The views were perfect from the room, so I suggest when you book get the suite. Not to mention CUR 1st World Cup Appearance was live. The activities were present from a cool night life party to just chilling by the beach...

"This is our 4th time at this hotel-- really like the place- the thing that kept it from a 5 star rating is the food- -- this is true over most of the island- food is just so so. Not terrible but not great either. Breakfast is good although a bit expensive, Evening meals are consistently disappointing. The staff is always helpful and accommodating. They get a 5 star rating. The hotel is always clean and is within easy walking distance of many attractions."

"Pros: Entertainment 10 out of 10. Excellent nightly entertainment. Friendly entertainment staff. Beach 10 out of 10. Great. Clean beach with snorkeling right of the beach. No boat traffic, very tranquil. Drinks were excellent. Bar staff were amazing. Will make you anything you want. Cons: House keeping was not very good. We had to hunt them down to clean our room. After placing multiple calls to front desk noone showed up for 3 days. Food was just OK. Not a lot of selection in the evenings....

"An oasis of calm and beauty. My “partial ocean view” room had a perfectly framed view of the pool and beach. This came in quite handy during the Curaçao-Germany World Cup watch party, when they put up a massive TV screen. A sea of patriotic Curaçao blue, then of Nederlands orange. Delicious food, with many options nearby. Staff are all very kind and helpful, with plenty of recommendations for what to see, do, and eat. Will absolutely return as soon as I can!"

There are plenty of beach chairs and palapas. The outside areas are well maintained. The staff was friendly. "I chose the Royal Sea Aquarium Resort for a solo birthday trip, and overall I had a good experience. "We stayed for 5nights and it was great. The view from the hotel period is beautiful you don’t need a ocean front room, we had room 33 lol and it had 3 other rooms on our side with a big balcony it was close to the beach pool bar everything. It’s a great location close to everything! They have hookah at the hotel as well it’s $60. Just book it, it’s lit, people from the cruise ship stop by that bar and for the view so it gets lit! "Coral Estates is simply amazing, the staff, the restaurants, the pool, the location, it can't be beat!! Also, its in a perfect location to go to all the beaches on the west end, and its not a bad drive to Willemstad/downtown area. We absolutely loved this place, and it was even more fun because Curacao was playing in the World Cup, and the resort was decorated for it. We will definitely return again!!"
