We love this property. Yes, it’s an older place and could probably use some upgrades but we would definitely stay here again and again. The staff is amazing. Food could be better but we don’t go for the food, we go for the beach and the relaxing. Amazing trip. Can’t wait to go again.

Room was very clean, no sand, no dirt on the floor knowing we were in and out with dirty feet and shoes. Room is very HOT pack a fan. Food was tolerable, nothing to brag about. Day to day staff was OK nobody went out of there way to please you except for our concierge Amanda, she was AMAZING. Views and location was great. Within walking distance to Mambo beach with plenty of shopping and restaurants

Overall our stay was excellent! The staff were extremely helpful and nice. The food was great and the location was easily accessible to other areas. Mambo beach blvd was literally a 10 minute walk.

The beach is beautiful, very clean with lots of chairs available . Unfortunately there is no bar service close to the beach and no staff come around to take orders, so you have to walk quite far to the main pool area to get a cocktail. The rooms are very outdated and furniture, drapery and bed skirt is very old and shows its wear. The bathroom is very old, dark and dingy. Restaurants are open air except for one which is only open for dinner. Buffet listed theme nights on the app but it was not followed. Food selection was just ok.

Housekeeping is excellent considering the rooms are not updated they are accommodating to visitors request. Some Registration staff are on rotation from other islands and are very professional. It appears I encountered only one agent who wasn’t taught how to seek out answers to questions proposed and didn’t seem to know the “I’m not so sure or let me double check that”. As travelers I know see and feel when a person is unsure but appears to conjure an answer that is very questionable. Therefore as a traveler. my common sense kicked in to reconfirm an answers. Meals are delicious and give plenty of options and variety of foods. Servers and bar tenders are inviting you with smiles and laughter. The exfoliating experience in the spa did not disappoint.

I like the resort it was beautiful. We had an ocean view room it was amazing. The food and drinks were excellent, especially at the specialty restaurant. We are foodies the Italian and seafood was our favorite. The daily buffet was also really good, it had a lot of variety to choose from, there’s something for everyone. The staff were nice, they are very reserved not too friendly. I loved the nightly entertainment. And most of all the beach was amazing loved it. I would definitely return in the future.

Sunscape is close to popular activities we wanted to do. We were walking distance to Mambo Beach and a short taxi ride to downtown Willemstad. The resort held daily and nightly events and entertainment. I loved the fire show. Overall, the resort is very family friendly. Unfortunately, the hotel frequently ran out of things (ex: wash cloths, menu items at restaurants). The pool closed at 6pm every night. The best food was at the hibachi restaurant.

I had read the reviews before I booked this resort so my expectations were not super high. I had booked a double Sun Club room. After checked in my daughter and I went to the room to find it was only a single bed room with an air conditioner that did not work real well. Went back to Sun Club check in and then was given a room with 2 beds and air that worked but then the shower curtain smelled like sweat. Went back to Sun Club check in and requested a new shower curtain and it was replaced. Hyatt really needs to tend to this property as everything in the room was dated as well as the outside of the building could use some TLC. The food for the most part was good, definitely not fine dining but it was edible. The true highlight of this property was the beach and swimming pools. They were well maintained and plenty of places to lounge and relax. This property is close to Mambo Beach which was definitely worth the 10 minute walk. As for nightly entertainment there was no big productions. I think they brought in locals to perform and they were good. All in all O would love to go back to Curacao but would not stay at this property.

The property is more run down than the website shows. The beach towel situation was ridiculous. Could only get towels from 8 to 5 and they close for lunch and they give you a hard time exchanging them. They say you can only make reservations at the Japanese restaurant on the same day. Waited in line for when the reservation desk first thing in the morning only to be told they were all booked for dinner because of large party reservations. Staff were rude. However Amanda the concierge was extremely accommodating. She squeezed us in for dinner at the Japanese restaurant for my daughter’s birthday dinner.

The hotel rooms are outdated. It needs a refresher or this hotel will be out of business in a year or two. The rooms are poorly maintained and some smell bad and sinks/showers are clogged. The restaurants are nice but my opinion they can add one or two more choices. The restaurants are not open every night so it can get crowded with long waits and poor service. Most of the staff are helpful. They have a Hibachi restaurant where they con you to buy a bottle in order to secure a reservation and then they rush you out by serving you dessert with the main course. I felt like the buffet hall was the best choice with great service. I was happy with the drinks. I was also happy the hotel was family friendly as I have three children. Lots of kids which was great to see.

Beautiful property, gorgeous ocean, many pools, ocean rocked off so easy to swim in ocean. Loved sunscape amenities like private pool, upscale liquor, vip services , minibar in room, concierge Kareen was fabulous when I needed help!! Kenneth and Beverly were fabulous bartenders and kind people!! Natalie, Verona, Peter, Harthan were great in the restaurants always sweet, nice , helpful, fun, made our stay even nicer!! All these wonderful staff made our stay fabulous 👌 only issue was checkin process was extremely lacking!!! But Kareen made it all better next day!!!!

We had a great view from our room. We had upgraded to ocean front . Room was very spacious. Amanda and Peter are the absolute highlights of this place. Would definently return and recommend this resort to others .
