"The friendliness and knowledge of the hotel staff is what sets this hotel apart from most others we have stayed in in other parts of Europe. Every staff member we interacted with was pleasant, helpful, courteous, and respectable. It didn’t matter their position, everyone was extremely professional and gracious to have us be a hotel guest. The property is kept neat and tidy with the exception of some sugar or salt and pepper packets I saw on the ground of the outdoor seating area during breakfast. There is a no glass policy around the pool, which we appreciated. Our room was consistently cleaned well and timely. Our bathroom sink was slow to drain. We brought it to the attention of the front desk early in our stay, however it didn’t seem to improve so we assumed that it was not looked into but would be upon our checkout. This certainly did not put a damper on our stay or our opinion of the hotel. The room thermostat couldn’t be adjusted to go below 23c, so it was uncomfortably warm. We thought we could get around easily with taxis, but found that it was a challenge at night when we went out of town to restaurants Thankfully, the front desk came through for us and they were able to call a taxi to pick us up. When we arrived back at the hotel, I talked to the front desk and asked about a car rental and by 8:30 the next morning we were informed that one would be delivered to the hotel at 11:30am thru the hotel’s car rental service. The hotel staff went above and beyond for us!"
