"The property itself is really nice and they offer pick up/drop off from Gora station. Breakfast was good. There isn’t a lot around this hotel so it seems best for those planning to stay at the hotel for meals/amenities/etc. They offer scheduled drop offs at Odawara train station but it’s only convenient for those going back to Tokyo (we were headed to Kyoto and had to take the city bus instead)."

"When you step in it like all you sense are targeted. I loved the smell the most. It was lake sage is the best that I could compare it to. If you have the chance stay here and try to get the room with your private Onsen."

"Very nice hotel with superb services and delicious food."

"The private onsen was absolutely lovely."

"The hotel setting is absolutely beautiful, the staff extra lovely and helpful, the breakfast and dinner included were fabulous . I chose a room without the lake view and would upgrade next time but pure was still lovely . The onsen was relaxing and cocktails overlooking the footpath great. It was a wonderful adventure from Tokyo to Hakone on the Romancecar train then the switchback train and cable cars to the hotel and good that a direct bus can take you back if time is short . The Hakone free...

"Beautiful room with a lovely view and private onsen."

"It is very hard to catch taxi from this property due to everyone trying to get out at the same time but it’s walkable down the hill not recommending it with elders stuff we’re great"

"15時過ぎにチェックイン、早速お風呂に入浴した。残念な事にお湯が少しぬるい。 しばらく湯船に浸かっていたが、体温まらず。気温が急に下がってきたので、もう少し温度を上げたほうが良いのではとスタッフさんに伝える。 夜に再度お風呂に行った。さっきより温度が上がり、ちょうど良い湯加減に。 ホテル側の迅速な対応に感謝！ 他は部屋、食事、ホスピタリティは満足で、言うことは無し。"

"We loved it here! So relaxing after a few busy days in Tokyo. Food is amazing and plentiful, and the onsen literally felt healing"

"Good service The hotel is a bit old but everything is well maintained The room is quiet pricy"

"Very cool experience. The meal is a very traditional Japanese meal, with of course the main meal being the pick of your choice. The waygu beef was fabulous. Pricey option itself as an onsen, but the most affordable that we could find!"
