Trains are not accessible, only buses which are not walking distance. Hard to find taxi at night. Overall a great place if you want to disconnect in nature. Private onsen on own cabin was very nice. "Cozy and picturesque. A lot of families with children. Really loved the views of the lake, the onsen, and the dinner. Staff was friendly, attentive, and fluent in English. Only downside is the location is not very convenient, it's about a 20 minute walk into town. There's sidewalks and the walk is pleasant, but the buses don't run very frequently, so keep that in mind if you won't have a car and are opposed to walking."
