Nice staff and employees who are always willing to help. we had a Japanese still room with loft, it is really romantic. And the breakfast and dinner are delicious with various kinds of options. Staff was helpful from the start. Hotel provides courtesy shuttle to the hotel from Kawaguchiko station. Staff welcomes you into the hotel and guide you to your room. Staff will explain how to use any amenities such as the open air bath. Our room used a futon and a staff will come by and set up the room. Much like other reviews, hotel is outdated and quite far from any convenience store or restaurant.

Beautiful views of Lake Kawaguchiko. We were even lucky enough to have about a 12 hour cloudless(of 72) window to see Mt Fuji. Dining is strange. Three of our six meals were served in a windowless cubicle, when there were tables available in a large dining room with windows everwhere. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff.
