"My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in mid June. First, compared to other resorts that are within walking distance of downtown. Avila has the best private beach. There are plenty of beach chairs and palapas. The outside areas are well maintained. The staff was friendly. "We stayed for 5nights and it was great. The view from the hotel period is beautiful you don’t need a ocean front room, we had room 33 lol and it had 3 other rooms on our side with a big balcony it was close to the beach pool bar everything. It’s a great location close to everything! They have hookah at the hotel as well it’s $60.
Just book it, it’s lit, people from the cruise ship stop by that bar and for the view so it gets lit! Very safe! Walkable to everywhere"

"If you can afford it, select the Ocean Front room with private beach. We have stayed at the hotel some 5 times, and except the first time, we only want this room."

"Here’s a polished version of your review:
We stayed at this hotel to celebrate a birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
First, the room was not properly prepared for the birthday celebration we had arranged. The balloons were deflated, and the wine that was supposed to be included was missing upon arrival.
