"The Marriot Suzhou is at a quiet area away from commercial area. You need to take a taxi to the close by shopping areas and tourist attraction. Other than this, the stay in Marriot Suzhou can be considered as perfect. Check in was a bit disappointing. The staff handling the check in was probably not trained properly. She informed that all is done and passed us the room key to go to our room. While walking to the lift, she suddenly rushed to us to tell us to make payment for the stay first....

"Perfect location. You can see the fabulous Taihu lake scene from the lake view room. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. There was even a night swimming pool party for children when I stayed there. And the breakfast is also good. After all, the hotel is quite lovely."

Staff is very friendly, usually greeting you with a smile and saying "Good morning," even when just walking by. No gift shop. Nice selection of sandwiches, sodas when going out for the day. Lucas, the concierge, was awesome. He knew I like Diet Coke and made sure I had one before leaving on a tour. The bar/cafe is iffy--for me. Live music, very loud, and hardly anyone in the cafe ......

"This hotel is huge but too remote from any sightseeing spots. The nearest subway station is 15-20 minutes walk. If you just want to relax and stay at the hotel all the time, it would be nice. There are a gym and a good sized swimming pool with no charge for guests. Room is spacious and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the lake. Staff are friendly and helpful but only communicate in Chinese. There is no restaurant nearby. "

"Location is the best in town for city shopping, tourism, and business. Room is brand new and high floor. But restaurant and hotel facilities are not up to expectation. Wash basin and bath tub drain are not well fixed in my room."

"Hote;s.com에서 5성급이라는 안내문구를 보고 예약을 했는데 도착해 확인결과 3성급 수준의 리조트였음. 오후 3시경 도착했는데 방 준비가 안되어 30분 넘게 기다렸고, 호수뷰라고 예약을 했는데 1층 풀장에 접한 룸으로 호수를 볼 수 없었고, 유럽식 조식 제공한다고 했는데 쟁반에 중국식(죽, 국수반그릇, 만두1개, 삶은계란1개, 과일몇쪽) 정식셋트를 트레이쟁반에 가져다 주었음. 룸은 여타호텔 대비 협소했으며, 복도에 이동하는 투숙객들로 인한 소음도 심했음. 숙소 바로앞의 호숫가 산책로를 제외하면 가격대비 만족도 매우 떨어지며, 사이트에서 제공한 정보와 전혀 다름"
