"The staff was so friendly, and it was an exquisitely beautiful setting. If you have mobility issues, this is not your place - the stairs are steep, and getting to the loft is with a straight up ladder - but if you can deal with the stairs you'll be fine, and it would be an amazing place for a family with kids. The road down to the river is well-maintained, and I enjoyed the relaxed hooting of the howler monkeys on my walk."

"The staff was so welcoming and helpful!! The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The pillows were very clean plump so beware stomach sleepers. We were on the second floor and took advantage of sitting on the balcony to watch the birds. Bonus - a sloth was 10’ from our breakfast table. Definitely recommend. "

"My family of 4 had such a nice stay at the Arenal Manoa Resort. The grounds are absolutely stunning! The gardens are breathtaking and we enjoyed a lovely view of the volcano from our room. The room was spacious and clean and we received the nicest gift before our departure. The staff was so welcoming and friendly, especially Kevin who took the time to point out the sloths on the property and made sure we got good pictures of them. It was a little chilly during our stay but we still enjoyed...

"The Arenal Country Inn was a wonderful place to stay! It is conveniently located to the town and the room was very comfortable! It could use a few more hooks to hang clothes and someplace to put suitcases instead of the floor. But overall the room did meet our needs and held our family of four nicely. I would request to have the bottles for body wash and hand wash filled up since we ran out of body wash and it was never filled. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed it daily...
