"Lovely self sustaining eco resort in the midst of the forest. We loved the food, the coziness of the cabin, the yoga classes, and wandering around the property. The farm tour and the night tour were fun activities to do with a 4 year old. We did not like: occasional smell of sewage around the property, especially around the pools. Dated bathrooms in cabins - needs a refresh. Construction noise around the property. "

The road to arrive is extremely rough - potholes, less than two lanes at times - but worth it once you arrive. "This place was busy, loud, and not well maintained. The room was very dark and outdated. There was music blasting late into the evening and trucks going by at all hours. The buffet breakfast was the worst food we had while in Costa Rica. There were lots of pools and some nice gardens on the property but tons of people. They made us put on two bracelets upon arrival, a paper in car window, and gave us plastic cards for towels. This place has too many rules. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights...

"This is a wonderful location near the national park. If you are wanting to hike the waterfall trail in the national park, it is only about a 5-10 minute drive from this hotel. The hotel is unique in its design and location. It is nestled into the natural surroundings, and the grounds are lovely. "Our experience was as expected from a premier luxury spa resort. Its an amazing resort and experience."

"We loved our stay here so much! The property is gorgeous and the bungalows feel very private and unique. The staff is incredible helpful and took us to our bungalow to walk us through the amenities. It is worth noting the location is very remote. If you do not have a car, the hotel was very helpful arranging taxis. The final road to get to the property is a very bumpy road so we didn’t want to leave more than we had too. We wish we had an extra day we could’ve spent to just enjoy the property...
