"The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. "Beautiful, large bedroom, comfortable bed, stunning view. Everything spotlessly clean. Exceptional bathroom. There was a problem with the toilet which was sorted by the time I came back from my day out and about. Friendly breakfast servers. I asked for more milk for my room, which they happily provided. Parking in the street wasn't an issue, costing £18 per day. Great location."

It’s an aged hotel/Manor House with lots of charm, wood panelling, beautiful staircase.

"A very warm welcome on arrival, with a clear explanation given of things that we needed to know. Help offered with bags and an escort given to our more than pleasant booked room (Cathedral View). "Very warm welcome, I was travelling with my dog, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms exceptionally clean, towels super soft. Lovely size room. Very comfortable . Went into Bar for coffee, very friendly also 7 of us had Sunday lunch, everything was very nice. Will definitely stay again."
