Had such an Exelent time at this hotel Breakfast was amazing there was a pool gym sauna steam room everything you need at your fingertips so I’m coming back near end off febuary staff were just amazing came with family coming back with Family so nice people come to this hotel so looking forward to coming back

Great night's sleep

Just an overnight stay before dropping iff our son at Newcastle Uni digs. Ample free parking. A very friendly and helpful receptionist. From the decor it looked like the hotel was a premier inn in a former life. Just needs a bit of tlc and updating, but was more than adequate for us, very comfortable beds resulting in a very giod sleep.

This is an excellent, value for money budget hotel. Most facilities are at par with what you would expect from a budget hotel but most outstanding feature is its very helpful staff. Adam is a star. He went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. All other staff we interacted with - Sumit, Helen, Caroline - were all very kind and helpful. Kudos to the management for hiring such awesome people. The next door pub waggon team is also an asset, good food at reasonable prices. Convenient location, felt safe, plenty of parking - couldn’t ask for more.

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was not made or cleaned. Had to exchange towels myself. Arranged breakfast for 9am next morning but then when I came down it was made for 8am and my wife couldn't eat hers due to meat being put in the sandwich despite it being specified that only egg should be there. Address is wrong since entrance is a different road and hard to find. Also no contact phone number for the hotel. Despite these faults the place is nice and clean and the staff are wonderful.

Very basic hotel, similar to a Premier Inn. Staff were friendly and helpful, but the outside area was dirty with lots of rubbish, which really let it down. Served its purpose for two nights for a wedding locally, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Not the best experience

Greeted with massive pile of mattresses in the car park (not the best welcoming view - apparently awaiting council collection). Couldn't access the building to get to reception (have to be buzzed in). Looks like an old Premier Inn that's been run down and a few new signs up. Room was nice and big but run down. Poor state of furniture.

The room was fine but we paid £20 extra for breakfast. We asked for cups and milk yeah well, that’s not the pay for the breakfast and were given cardboard cups and a four pint plastic milk container plonked on reception. We asked for hot breakfast. After 15 mins someone came out and asked if we wanted baked beans. Which we refused as it had taken a long time already. We were each presented an untidy plate with. One sausage, one piece of bacon. Scrambled eggs. A hash brown that was not cooked ( frozen) and a roll. Plus we were sat at an uneven table in what I can only describe as a corridor. We have never had a breakfast so bad. To anyone who stays there please do not bother.

Ich bin super zufrieden

Ich habe die Nacht in diesem Hotel sehr gut geschlafen. Das Bett war super bequem - nicht zu hart, nicht zu weich - und die Bettdecke ebenso klasse. Das Hotel wird nach und nach die Zimmer renovieren... meines kommt wohl auch bald dran. Gut - es war noch veraltet, aber auf jeden Fall wirklich sauber. Hier hätte ich es auch noch ein paar Nächte aushalten können.

Hassle free overnight stay

Just on an over night stay, arrived and got my room key at 15.15 had a freshen up and then back to the hotel by 10Pm. Good size double room all clean, tidy and just what i needed. tea and coffee facilities with the offer of more when i checked in. Comfy bed had a back room so no real noise. All in all a hassle free stay. Hotel is just off A1 on the edge of an industrial estate, pub next door and local food outlets near by. No food at hotel for me not a problem. if i was hungry or needed breakfast then perhaps not the place to stay.

It is the first time that I have ever stayed at a hotel that does not provide pillow cases. I slept on the actual pillows! It was supposed to be a luxury room: yes, a luxury room that provided only one coffee and one tea sachet each! I am given more at Travelodge!

Great value stay with hotel just off A1 with handy Greene King pub next door for evening meal. Bed very comfortable and with free parking all around ideal stop over on way home and close to shops and entertainment as well
