"Japan is soo convenient. They had PJ’s for you to wear only if you’re sized US XL and down which is okay. They had necessities for you to use if you did not pack any example tooth brush, shaver, etc. we got to experience the breakfast there, it was very authentic. Also the room was a perfect size for my husband and I. Definitely would recommend this place."

"The room was nice, though the nature of the bathroom meant that there was some mold hidden in the crevices and in the caulking. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, great at answering questions about Kyoto. The breakfast was a really nice variety of dishes, both Japanese dishes and Western eggs and bacon. Laundry is just coin machines, nothing impressive, but gets the job done. Would gladly stay here again when I just need a compact room for myself. I didn't see any of the larger rooms, so I can't say how those would fit my family of 4."

"Two nights staying with Richmond made us wonderful experience in Kyoto. Ice cream time and social time with Japanese drinks were awesome! Breakfast was good to manage all day. Room was small but all good to organize luggage under beds. Absolutely, i want to revisit here. "
