Apparantly Expedia doesn't tell us that there is a room tax, payable in cash, once you arrive at the hotel. So, that was a bit of a surprise. Also, we arrived early and the girl at the front desk just told us to put our bags to the side, didn't show much interest in helping us, or being friendly. Other than that, the stay was excellent. The rooms are amazing, beds are incredible, bathroom is superb!

I appreciated that the size of the room. I was impressed with a separate mini kitchen, full bath, double sink, living area, separate bedroom. It was the most spacious and well layed out hotel room I have ever stayed at. There were 4 automatic coin laundry washer and dryer. If clothes needed more dry time, they had a clothing rack and hooks in the room. Also enjoyed the well pressured shower system. Location is fantastic too. Can easily take either the local bus or train to most destinations. Will be sure to stay here again at my next visit

The room was big, clean, the beds were comfortable and they had amazing pillows! There’s a Laundry room with 4 washer and dryers, which truly helped us! The hotel is close to Kyoto station. I loved that there’s a compartment with one bed, and then 3 twins together. If you arrive before check in, you can leave your luggage by the front desk and it’s completely safe. Overall, a great hotel and I highly recommend it.

The room was enormous and very clean. Love the jets in the bath tub for my aching back. The receptionist was very courteous. After staying in a couple of hotels in Japan this one is, by far, the best.
