I loved the cross section of tradition and modern during my stay. The onsen (natural hot springs) was very therapeutic. The staff was very friendly and made the check in/check out process very smooth. My group and I arrived with our luggage two hours before check-in and the hotel staff were very accommodating with holding our belongings allowing us to free up our hands to explore and grab a bite to eat.

Buffet breakfast stands out for me here. Next will be the hot springs they have at the hotel followed by the cleanliness and quiet atmosphere all throughout our stay. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Highly recommended for folks visiting Kyoto. Kyoto station is about 5mins walk away.

The accommodations are impeccably clean, and the staff is very accommodating. Be sure to try the breakfast—it's a highlight! Unfortunately, I can’t enjoy the onsen because of my tattoos. However, the venue is conveniently located near the train station, and the food is exceptional.

The hotel has a great atmosphere, a really relaxing design and interior with tatami and low level bed and chairs. The onsen was great after a long day of exploring Kyoto and there are a lot of free things like coffee, noodle soup, massage chair.. The breakfast was delicious too. I would definitely come again.

Love the Japanese style family room. Luxury breakfast is a must try. Onsen was so relaxing and had great atmosphere. My kids loved switching between different types of Onsens and had great fun. A perfect place to stay especially for visitors travelling with family. It is not just a hotel to spend the nights, as we feel that it was our temporary home in Kyoto during our stay.

Overall, the hotel was an okay stay. The location was great, especially being close to Kyoto Station, and the amenities were excellent. However, there was a bad smell in the bedroom that took away from the experience. One of our purses was lost at the train station, and one of the staff members was extremely helpful in contacting the station and helping us locate it. We really appreciated their kindness and assistance.

There are variety of facilities such as public bath, free ramen, free drinks and sweets for guests to enjoy. Just one thing is that there is some stain tatami floor in my room and the public bath is always full of people. The location is convenient and there’s a big car park next to it so parking is also convenient to us who self drive in Kyoto.
