"Good place to stay but a little bit faraday from the city centre. After get use to use the public transport, it’s ok. Staff has limited English, safe area. "

Valia Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is truly beautiful. My room was comfortable, modern and elegant. The staff was friendly and the concierge had excellent advise for day trips or train rides. The breakfast buffet is stunning. I used both the pool and the gym and both were a pleasure. The Metro blue line is closeby through quaint backstreets. I like that the area is not as congested and hyper as the main Sukhumvit area. I look forward to going back. Great value for the price. "
"Really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would go back again. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The cleaniness of the rooms and common areas is well maintained. The breakfast provided was amazing - there was a wide range of varieties every day, and the food was very vegetarian and vegan friendly. The hotel is also near a convenience store for any quick groceries, and the rooms have a small stove in the kitchen as well. The hotel is a walkable distance away from the BTS skytrain stop, and its distance from popular tourist areas makes it easy to call cabs reasonably."
"The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly and extremely attentive. Happy hour on the roof too bar was a lovely way to spend an evening and the breakfast was exceptional."
"This is an older hotel with all the advantages and disadvantages that come with that. The advantages are that the rooms are large and have a certain charm to them that you don't get in the newer hotels. The disadvantages are that everything is just a little worn and run down, although I know that they are in the process of renovating each floor. All in all, a very good hotel in a great location at and excellent price."
