"Here is a paradise away from home! The staff welcome you with a kind, generous smile who ensure you feel 100% comfortable! The room is very comfortable, with great bathroom! "The Phuttal Residence is located on a beautiful river/canal. We stayed in the family apartment, though there were just the two of us. The furniture and accommodations were nothing fancy, but everything was clean and orderly. The breakfast was excellent. Even though we had a kitchen, we did not cook. Please note that you will need to order a taxi to find a restaurant. It is about a 10 minute drive to center of Ayutthaya."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful- the guesthouse is located down an alleyway but the one facing the street is operated by the same team, so there was a bit of confusion at first when checking in but it was quickly settled. They stored our bags for us and helped us with directions. The room was spacious and fit our needs for the night. "

"Khun Tao and her staff were very friendly. The hotel has a family customer service environment. Rooms were clean and even though room didn’t have a microwave. The staff was more than helpful to heat your food. On first night there staff ordered food for me, went above and beyond to accommodate my hunger :-)"

"It's a home that has been converted into a 5 room hotel. There is free parking. It's cramped, but there's parking. It's on the river, which is nice, but you'll hear river boats throughout the day and night. Because it is formerly a house, you'll hear the guests next door pretty easily. Overall, it's a nice, not too expensive place to stay. No complaints about the room, other than we could hear everything going on in the other rooms. If you like to sleep in, you might want to choose somewhere...

"Baan Khong Tara is relatively new Thai style hotel. Although it is located outside Ayutthaya Island, it is quite near Wat Chaiwattanaram (2km) and there are several ways to get to the city. The home-stay breakfast was great ! Services overall was excellent. There are good quality bikes for rent if you like cycling around. Roughly the place can accommodate 12 car parking. Value for money !"
