It’s about a mile west of the main downtown area with many restaurants only steps away, including one on site. The double room I booked was the perfect size for one person, but would have been a bit small for two platonic guests. It’s not because the room was small (which it is), but because of the size of the bed. You’d want to be sharing it with someone you plan to...

"My stay at Villas Vilma was great. The place is clean, comfortable, and in a really convenient spot for getting around La Fortuna. Adriana and Daniela at the front desk were both incredibly welcoming and helpful, which made everything even better. Be sure to stop by the soda "diner" across the street—the food is delicious and it’s a nice way to enjoy the local neighborhood vibe. Overall, a solid and friendly place to stay while exploring the area."
