The staff was amazing and attentive (especially Hamid and Kevin), the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible, the bedding was great, and the grounds made you feel like you were on a retreat. We loved the intimate feel and getting to know the staff. We were sad to leave but look forward to the opportunity to return!"

"The room was immaculate, boasting a fantastic balcony with a view of the volcano. The balcony featured a glass side wall and a privacy curtain, also keeping the rain out. While the bathroom was a bit dated, it was clean and included a European bidet. The property itself was truly five-star: well-designed and meticulously maintained. "The location, it's absolutely breathtaking. Nothing compares. Sitting on the deck, watching the bird feeder and seeing all the different birds swooping in, the coatis running around. The food is pretty good too but keep in mind, you'll end up having dinner here. Can't recommend driving at night if you want to eat dinner in La Fortuna. The grounds are well-kept and the trails are good. You can easily walk the whole day. Don't forget to go to the Nest for a good view. "
