"Lovely stay, lovely staff, great location. I was upgraded upon arrival, room was spacious and bathroom very modern. I slept so well!
Gym on rooftop was small, but had everything you need.
Breakfast was amazing! Large selection of dishes including usual breakfast items as well as more brunchy options like grilled chicken, noodle soups, stir fried veg, salads, and fruit.
Staff were all so kind and lovely.
Great location, walkable distance to all cool things around Old Quarter.

"Capella is a great hotel. There's a lot of blingy furniture which is not really my style but is supposed to resemble 1920's and they've done a great job. The hotel provides afternoon tea and cocktails. The staff the was a bit disorganised and i was told that cocktail I ordered was no longer available as they ran out of it so I assumed the cocktails were pre made and did not really contain the alcohol strength I'm familiar with esp my Negroni."
"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel-it was the first one we stayed at our our vacation traveling around Vietnam. This hotel is located in the old quarter-a convenient location. We really enjoyed the breakfast-the staff were very friendly & they had the best yogurt & coffee! We would consider this hotel in the future! Thank you! "
"Enjoyable stay on the whole due to the friendly polite staff and the amenities of the hotel.
Only downside was the price of food and drinks which I thought were outrageous.

Mini bar I beer 8 times more expensive than store price
I tried to book including breakfast on Expedia but I found no option.
All in all it was a great one time experience but I would try to find a better value hotel in future"
"We had a wonderful stay at Splendid Premium Hotel. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They assisted us with an issue regarding our flight tickets, even checking the details for us to confirm which luggage was included. They also arranged drivers whenever we needed and provided clear information for all our questions.

"We booked this after staying in one of the La Siesta hotels in Ho Chi Minh. The location btw Old Quarter and French Quarter was ideal to explore Hanoi and for the day trips to other destinations. The room was nice and comfortable, I also love that they give glass, rather than plastic water bottles. Lovely breakfast and great service from super-friendly staff "

"Could have been very satisfied but ended up VERY DISAPPOINT.
Overall the rooms are very good (I've booked for 5 rooms with double and family room). The bed is very comfy and the bathroom is good. But there's one thing that really disappoint me and my family is that the ignorance of the housekeepers.
I'm not sure when they're doing our room they have other things in mind or not, but they threw away my brother's retainer (which is very strange since he put it in a proper box), our toothpaste...

"Great locations - 5 min walk to Water Puppet Theater, Opera House, Catedral. Breakfast and Pho at restaurant are great! Fri - Sun - in front of hotel become walking street which is nice and quiet. However we need to walk about 100m from the street dropoff. Room is generally very nice. 1st floor still can smell kitchen in the morning."
