Great hotel at the best location. Walking distance to a lot of sites and food places. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating. If ever I come back to Hanoi again, I will definitely book this place again.

Excellent hotel!

We loved our time at the Bonsella! The service was very personal and overall excellent! Everyone was so helpful for us. The location is perfect and close to everything. We just walked all over the beautiful city of Hanoi. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. Very happy with our stay!

We booked a suite with King bed. The bath tub and shower combo was a little concerning as it is very high up and you'd have to climb up into; can be a major trip hazard for older adults. I am in my late 30's and had a hard time. When the tub was wet, i nearly killed myself trying to get in to shower. Again, the tub function did not work. To make up for the room, the staff was extrememlt hospitable. Very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. They made the e perience enjoyable at the hotel. Always making sure we were happy with our stay. I would recommend this hotel for its close proximity to Hoa Kiem Lake and eateries.

Good hotel but noisy

The hotelโ€™s location is perfect for exploring Hanoiโ€™s old and French quarter. Lots of restaurants and shopping around the hotel too. My room is newly renovated and has a city view. However do bring your earbuds plugs because the soundproofing of the room is not the best. You will hear the traffic, construction and dragging of chairs. The roof is under construction so avoid the highest 3 floors if you want a peace sleep. ** The hotel kindly offered me free transportation to the airport after learning about the construction noise last night. Excellent customer recovery. I will definitely consider staying with them again.

Worst hotel Iโ€™ve ever experienced

Itโ€™s the worst experience Iโ€™ve ever had in my almost 40 years of travelling. The water bottles no matter big or small need to pay(not what they told us when we checked in) and I feel cheated and humiliated when they told us weโ€™d destroyed the opening ( not really opened) a bottle of wine which no label on it. I didnโ€™t even see where it was and my husband told me it was on the top of the shelf. I strongly suggest hotels.com evaluate the hotel because I donโ€™t want other guests be cheated or wrong finger pointed as I had been.

Amazing location in the Old Quarter and extremely near to the Hoan Kiem Lake. There's a bar, local coffee shop, local eateries and a famous pizzeria all within a few steps from the hotel. The room itself is decent and breakfast is just okay. They close their entrance at midnight though, so be prepared with a SIM card so you can call them up to open the door if you were to arrive back later than that.

The front desk staff is very friendly. Mia ( sorry if wrongly called). Suggest staff should wear a name tag. Mia was helpful and always have happy and smiling face. Recommend to stay in this hotel again. By the way, m house breakfast was wonderful, Vietnamese style as well as western - porch eggs, hot dogs, bacons. All cooked very delicious and yummy. Vietnamese coffee, cereals also served. Well done . Had a wonder stayed in Bonsella.
