The Sofitel Legend Metropole is simply exquisite! We arrived very late and were greated with friendly, helpful staff. Our room was perfect--just as requested it was comfortable and quiet. The hotel grounds were gorgeous as was the classic decor. The dining options both for breakfast and dinner exceeded our expectations. The location is also great and within walking distance to everything we wanted to do and see in Hanoi.

Very nice and historic hotel in very good condition. I stayed in the old historic wing and did not regret that decision. There were two incidents in which privacy and communication was a problem but overall glad to have had the chance to stay there. Breakfast was excellent and includes their famous egg coffee if you ask.

Beautiful hotel, good food, and amazing service!! I wish I could stay longer. The location is also great to walk around. It is totally worth it over any other lower cost hotel.

The room was beautiful, the staff were attentive and kind, the restaurant was excellent but there was only one elevator in the old wing and it was full of mold. I am very allergic to mold and after a couple of trips to my room on the third floor, i developed a bad cough and it has turned into a chest infection. After this started I only walked up the four flights which was good exercise but not ideal for a five star hotel with a wonderful history.

The hotel services were excellent and the staff were impeccable going over and above, no requests were too much and i would like to say a massive thank to Dac Vu from the butler team, he helped us out massively when our tour was rescheduled and can not thank him and the team enough for helping us out. Would highly reccomend this hotel and will definitely be back next time in Hanoi
