"There were two Japanese well maintained gardens and stone paving hallway outside. They were beautiful and they made us feel very historical culture. The summer season in Kyoto is very uncomfortable to stay outside because of the hight temperature but, in this house, for some reason we could stay comfortably without air conditioner. "The host is very welcoming and enthusiastic to share places around. This is a traditional Japanese style living on tatami and Japanese futon along with a shared public bath. You will have the best rest sleeping on those futon in this quiet neighborhood. 7-11, Daiso, coin laundry and buses to major attractions are all within 5min of walk. "

"Ein typisches altes japanisches Haus mit tollem Flair. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, täglich frisches Wasser und Handtücher. Wir haben uns zu sechst sehr wohl gefühlt, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat auch sehr gut geklappt. Die Strasse war beim ersten Mal nicht ganz einfach zu finden, auch der Taxifahrer hat sich schwer getan. Ich kann die Unterkunft für eine größere Gruppe/ Familie aber nur weiterempfehlen! "
