"Courteous and helpful staff. A bit too close to the train tracks but fortunately the last train was about 10 PM"

"Nos encantó el hotel, instalaciones, amenidades, servicio , comida, actividades y sobre todo la cercanía con Machu Picchu inmejorable! Gracias a todo el staff : Alex, Joshimar, Alex de la entrada , Elizabeth . GRACIAS!"

"Highly recommend El MaPi. Logistically convenient, a very easy walk from train station, and close to the bus station heading up Machu Pichu. Hotel has an earthy/ nature oriented feel, very relaxing. Staff are very friendly, extremely helpful. Room was nice, clean, seemed fairly new/ updated. Restaurant was very good for both dinner and breakfast, fun bar for after dinner. I didn’t visit the spa, but am sure it was great too."

"Very comfortable bed. Separate sitting area with second TV. Extra large bathroom with large shower and deep bathtub. Nice plush towels. Pleasant breakfast starting early and ending late. Very quiet room (sound dampening windows blocked out the noise of the train station across the street as long as everything was closed. Convenient part of town for trains and busses to Machu Picchu. Those were the good things. Strong smell of sewer in the bathrooms. Loose toilet seats. Only enough hot water...

"Close to bus stop and lots of restaurants and shops. The rooms are small and need hanging space. There was no hanging space or shelf or closet to put your clothes."

"Excellent view"

"Location is excellent and is just a minute walk to the Bus station, Train Station and center. The AC was leaking water for the first 2 nights and was not working on the 3rd night when they shifted me to a new room. A floor fan was provided on request. The hotel is located right in front of train tracks and I have heard train go through a couple of times after 10 pm but it's not too bothersome if your room is situated on the stream side. Overall, I felt the price was too high for the quality of...

"Nreat hotel for a stay in Aguas Calientes. It's not mentioned in the descrition but to get to the hotel, you will need to go through steep steps. Still hotel its nice, has a nice view and the location is great."

"Tuvimos una excelente experiencia. La atención fue muy buena, el personal amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Las instalaciones son cómodas y la ubicación es excelente. Además, cuentan con Wi-Fi gratuito y algo que valoramos mucho es que el desayuno comienza muy temprano, ideal para quienes tenemos tours o visitas programadas a Machu Picchu. Sin duda, fue una muy buena elección para nuestra estadía. ¡Lo recomendamos!"

"Excelente servicio."

"breakfast with nice view, Get ready to climb stairs"

"Muy bien siempre uso casa andina"

"Not a good experience at all. Run down and dirty. Stunk. Tiniest bathroom-size of airplane bathroom. Got bites all over my arms and legs at night from something. Bites turned into welts and caused muscle pain. Breakfast in morning was cold. Warmer under food was not plugged in. Staff were trying to be helpful but didn’t know English well. Got charged for two nights but only stayed one. Tried calling them for almost 4 months prior to reservation to cancel second night and they never got back to...

"The hotel is older on a small side street of the main tourist area. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The 3 star rating is due to a strange window into the hallway. It had curtains but not completely blacked out. Also quite noisy at night due to barking dogs in the neighborhood. The room was clean but bathroom had older fixtures and tile grout very soiled. The outside window did not close completely and there was no AC. Couldn’t really open the window for long due to the bugs. The...

"Clean nice hotel with friendly staff minutes from the train station. They helped with the bags up the flight of stairs and proactively even called me to wake me up on time for my Machu Pichu bus. Great stay."

"Staff was Excellent ! Very friendly and helpful full ! Truly enjoyed the entire Experience !"
