Excellent location convenient to shopping, dining and public transport. Gorgeous area if you like to stroll about. Stately rooms with elegant details kept very clean by friendly attentive staff. Will look for Relais & Chateaux in the future.

An outstanding hotel. Very convenient location. Staff were absolutely superb and the room itself was brilliant. Lovely little touches at every turn such as complementary snacks and drinks (remember when all hotels had this?!), robe and slippers etc. I was a little surprised when I was told an additional £20 service charge was to be paid on checkout when the room was already paid but apart from that, a really great stay. Highly recommended.

The Chelsea Townhouse was the ideal artistic haven during the London Art Biennale. I was enveloped in inspiration from the moment I arrived, surrounded by wonderful collection of art throughout the hotel and soothed by beautiful classical music. The location was perfect — incredibly safe and walkable to the Chelsea Old Town and biennale events, with excellent restaurants nearby. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, a wonderful library and a well-equipped gym was a great bonus. Feeling constantly inspired and secure made my stay truly special. I absolutely loved the artistic atmosphere and hope to return for future events!

Clean and nice

Stay was lovely. It is a really nice hotel in a great area of Chelsea. I booked the single room and it is TINY. It is great for a short stay but would not recommend for longer stays as it was a bit stressful to navigate the room. That said, the hotel is incredibly clean, the overall property is boutique luxurious. However, as I was there for business I was disappointed the wake up call was 30 minutes late. Everything else was great though.

Didn’t live up to our expectations

Dark and gloomy room in the basement. Told us it was an upgrade. Couldn’t open the curtains, people walking on the street could look in . They did not clean our room, we had to ask for the room to get cleaned at 3:45 p.m The wine glass in the room had such a terrible smell we had to poor the wine out ( thought it was bad wine, then we discovered that the water tasted the same. Ruined an expensive bottle of wine. Nice garden. Great location. Would I stay here again? No

Had a lovely stay! The staff is very kind and attentive, the rooms are well appointed and decently sized, and you can’t beat the location just steps away from Pavillion Road. But the real reason you should book this hotel is the access to the private park just off the dining room. A truly special place to sit and relax. A real hidden gem in London.
