Just not worth the price. We also found a $25 random charge after returning home. I suspect the bell man tripped the fridge sensor when showing us the room, which is annoying. The toilet was broken. The bed was soft and moved. No smart TV. Shower was nice and the gym was nice. Also had a really nice Deco inspired bar area, which was great. Honestly for $750 a night just pay the extra $150 and stay at the four seasons.

The entire staff was excellent - the Bellmen, dining staff, reception staff and concierge did EVERYTHING possible to make our stay special. Location is convenient with shopping and dining within walking distance. A bit pricey but I would definitely return.

Okay but not special

Arrived 2pm. Room wasn’t ready so went to bar. Didn’t have any cider. A lift wasn’t working over 2 consecutive days. Shower was luke warm on first day. Rainwater shower but no shower cap for wife - no laundry bag - just seemed like skimping on the basics. It was okay but didn’t feel spoilt in any way. Have been in better 5* in London. Breakfast was nice.

Thank you so much to the wonderful team at the Sheraton Grand who made my wife’s ‘big’ birthday weekend celebrations so enjoyable for us and our two children. The beautiful bottle of champagne and card from the staff when we got into the room was a lovely touch which showed us how we’d absolutely made the right decision to return for such a special weekend. Great location.

The Sheraton Grand is in an excellent location. The staff are very professional. Our room was spacious, well presented and clean. We chose the B&B option, the breakfast is very good but the breakfast room can be quite busy (as you'd expect on a Saturday morning). The lifts are a little annoying as they are scattered around the reception area and it is never clear which one will be the next to arrive. Our room looked over the alleyway between buildings and therefore the only view was of the AC ducting of the building opposite. I'm fairly sure I could hear mechanical noises coming from this alley for most of the night. The hotel adds a 5% service charge to the bill which appears to be coming more common. I'm not a fan but didn't argue this. We'd definitely stay here again but look to get a room in a different location.

We confirmed twice ahead of our arrival, and again on check in, that we were travelling with children, yet their beds weren’t even in the room, let alone set up, when we checked in. Not having this caused some issues for us given it was later in the evening and we had travelled a way to get there. We found the concierge and housekeeping staff brilliant, responsive, and helpful. They should be commended on their work. We had access to the lounge, for food, which was ok. Most times far too busy to get a seat and there wasn’t enough clean cutlery on several occasions. However we still enjoyed our time at the Sheraton and would return!
