Soul on the Thames

Stayed at MK for a local event, location was perfect. Room was very clean and comfy, crisp bedding and good size clean bathroom. Breakfast was fine also. Check in was simple enough. Would def stay again

Why emails in German?

The room was clean and functional. All communication from the hotel was in German, which was a pain! Automated check is outside the building - ok if the weather is good.

Perfect reasonably priced stay and breakfast just what you need. Not sure I like the very big check in display station outside the hotel where our personal info is on show to everyone around us. take an eye mask as they have the green security lights in the room which illuminates everything. If your light sensitive this will disturb your sleep

Excellent find

What a great find this hotel is! Chose as it was close to a event ae were attending but will definitely use again. V close to Putney tube station, nice location close to lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Check in was simple, guy on reception was lovely. As we drove on this occasion, the on site parking was a real bonus! Room was very clean, had everything needed for a short stay. Buffet breakfast was ample, lots of choice- plus an actual toaster, rather than one of those useless things that takes forever to 'cook' toast! For London, the price was excellent. Will book again.

Great location for a no frills stay

Excellent location. Very comfortable beds, contrary to how they looked. Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great too- simple but fresh eg the fruit salad wasn’t a few days old like some budget hotels try to get away with.

This a no frills, functional hotel that has all you need. A comfortable bed, big shower and air conditioning. Breakfast had typical choices of cold and hot buffet. Location was good not far from Putney and Putney Bridge stations and plenty of buses to take you into central London. A couple of negatives were that it was a bit bashed and could do with a paint. Other issue was the positioning of the only mirror was beside the door nowhere near a plug point making hair drying a bit tricky.

The room was clean and well-kept. The mattresses weren't particulary comfortable but I've had worse. The sound-proofing did not cut out the late night noise from the street. Venue was ideal, near Putney High Street and tube stations. Guests should be aware that staff are minimal - you check in and out online. The main gripe was around communication. Emails from the property were sent in German. We queried the arrangement of beds by email via Expedia, but got no acknowledgement or reply. The English instructions for check in arrived as we were departing the next morning.

Excellent budget hotel. We wanted to check-in early, no problem and no extra charge. Nice room, well laid out and with tea and biscuits. Oh and a good breakfast buffet included. This hotel is all the things Travelodge and Premier Inn aren't.
