Lovely stay at the Ibis Southwark. A warm welcome on arrival and we were able to get an early check in which was much appreciated. Room was spotlessly clean, tea and coffee provided in room as were bathroom toiletries. Ideally situated near the South Bank and Borough Market. Continental breakfast was varied and plentiful, the fresh pastries were delicious, We loved the quirky decor which added real character to the hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful, We haven’t stayed here before but will most definitely stay here again.

As I got a free upgrade to a suite as Guest of the Day, plus a free early check-in I was pretty happy! Complimentary breakfast (continental) was fine. Staff very nice. And I still got a pint despite arriving back at just after 11.00. Decent value too. Pity it wasn’t a little nearer the Underground but they can’t easily move it! Very close to the river.
