Excellent way to experience authentic Kyoto

Excellent place and great location. Loved being down this quaint alleyway close to every thing we wanted to see and experience. Only warning would be the stairs if traveling with anyone older, very young children or with mobility issues.

This stay was one of the highlights of the entire trip. If I will be in Kyoto again, there is no doubt that I will once again book this place. Everything about it was just perfect. The check in office was great with our luggage when moving them to our house and then to the next hotel.

Exceeded our expectations. Everything was very nice and was a nice traditional style home. Utilities worked great and was in a great spot being in the gion district. Beds were comfortable and was great having 2 bathrooms. There were really no negatives to our stay here.

Awesome place! Beautiful and spacious home with great facilities, including a wonderful bath, small kitchen, and laundry facilities. The location is perfect for visiting temples and shopping, with many restaurants in the neighborhood.
