Excellent hotel with 2 mineral pools to learn Japanese culture. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We are also very happy with the devine breakfast.
Perfect for short stay, services is good, especially enjoying hot spring with beautiful sea view, only one minute walk to Kobe port museum and the foodmark, also must go
We had a comfortable and quiet, perfect & relaxing stay! We loved every minute and will definitely go back! I would highly recommend this hotel to friends
We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful place. The staff are polite, and the facilities are well maintained. The room is clean, and the beds are comfortable. The food is delicious, and the rooftop onsen is just amazing!
We strongly recommend this hotel.
Very nice hotel with onsen and swimming pool. Great seaview room facing Kobe Tower - special thanks to the Spanish Manager Mr. Nogales Israel. Its really an enjoyable stay. Its my third time to stay in this hotel. Love it all the same.
Everything is very good, very comfortable to stay there. It is a bit far from city centre, but because of this, we can enjoy the seaside area. Onsen is pefect, room is big, clean.
I gave my wife and daughter a gift of a stay for three at a hotel for my mother's birthday. They were delighted by the beautiful night view of Kobe from the room and hot springs, as well as the excellent hotel service. Now, I'm also looking forward to staying there myself.
Whenever we return to Kobe from US, we stay here at least a couple of days. We always look forward to the quiet atmosphere, excellent buffet for morning and/or evening, or ala carte (menu is very extensive) restaurant. We love the Onsen, of course! This is one of the main reasons we come back to Kobe Minato Onsen Ren. Staff are always courteous and polite. We are planning to stay again in April this year. Looking forward to it very much!
Room are spotless, clean and comfortable. Public spas are very good, amenities are very well prepared. Should have shower cap. Staff are very nice and helpful. I lost my stuff, staff in dining area and front are very helpful. They tried to find it and return to me at my room. I am very appreciated for your kind effort. I did not know there names because everyone are very eager to help. Please give my thanks to all of them.
I don't like buffet style. I prefer kaiseki dinner and breakfast. If you have kaiseki dinner and breakfast, I will stay with you again.
I checked in half an hour earlier before official check-in.
The room is in the Japanese style, huge, clean, beautiful. The hotel has 2 onsens, one on the 1-st floor and another on the 10-th floor. Both were excellent!
Breakfast and dinner were amazing and very delicious!
The location is very good, in the very picturesque place by the sea.
The hotel has the bus shuttle to the central station, it runs every half an hour, but it is possible to walk from the central station to the hotel and it took me about 15 minutes.
We booked the Harbour suite which was super spacious.
We loved the private onsen which was really large. The spring water was a bit too hot for our liking . The buffet dinner was worth every cent. A proper Japanese expereince in food and culture. It felt like we were the only foreign tourists staying here which made it really unique like we had found a hidden gem. After dinner we went for a walk along the promenade which goes around the hotel. It was really nice walking besides the water with wonderful night views of kobe tower and surrounds.

I would highly recommend this hotel as it offers exceptional service and amenities. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming staff who made me feel right at home. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel's attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the immaculate cleanliness to the luxurious bedding and furnishings. The dining options at the hotel are also superb, with a wide range of delicious and well-prepared dishes to choose from. The hotel's location is ideal, offering breathtaking views and easy access to nearby attractions. Overall, my experience at this hotel was nothing short of excellent, and I would definitely stay here again in the future.
A great hotel located by the bay in the city. The room was really big and nice with a balcony facing the harbour. How ever we where very surprised when the reception told us that the check-in time was 17:00 (5:00pm). We then showed them that the check-in time in our booking was 15:00 (3:00pm) they let us check-in at 15:00. Very strange with no explantion. Then they charged us extra for beeing having a better view. How ever we never asked for this. When it comes to the SPA, it was quite a disapointment. Men’s and Women had separate pools. So since we wanted to spebd time together we went to the outdoor pool, that was not included in the original SPA-price. So we ended up paying extra for going to the pool at a SPA-hotel!? Not a big fee, but just very strange. So if you are looking for a really nice hotel you should really stay here. But if you are a couple that wants to enjoy the SPA together, go somewhere else
Oasis in the middle of the city. This is the city style ryokan I when stayed at, and what an experience! The room is spacious and airy, modern but still all the Japanese zen elements. The breakfast buffet is full of local selections, with western and Japanese items. There are two onsens to choose from, one with rooftop view and another one with large outdoor bath. I’ll recommend staying here over any traditional western style hotel. The Kobe port is right next the hotel and the main subway station is 15 minutes away by walking.
