The owner was very kind and he provided precise recommendations for transit. He also provided us with a map of Kyoto as well as a general guidebook for tourists. "A relatively inexpensive place in a great location in central Kyoto, friendly and helpful staff, decent room, quiet. This is not a 5 star hotel, more like 2-3 stars but a good one, with a nice atmosphere. I’d stay again for sure."
