"Great place. It was even better than we expected!"

"We could not wish for a better place to spend our honeymoon. All the staff from the reception to the cafe restaurant as very kind and made our stay a spectacular experience. We were received with a surprice from the manager. The cafe restaurant offered a food experience with all youbcan eat tapas followed the the main pasta dish with alowed us tonhave a culinary experience. The amenities were all new and high tech, very modern. The great location and the views from the balcony was the highlight...

"This place is just amazing in every way. The view from our room overlooking the kamo river is very picturesque. The layout of the room is very well designed and the room is huge and tastefully decorated. The location is close to the subway and minimarts. Love the microwave, the 2 televisions, and the washing machine. Highly recommend!!"

"Very good overall "

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel - it was very authentic Japanese style of beds on the floor which we found surprisingly comfortable. The only glitch, which I feel compelled to mention, is the 'smoking' area that is right at the entrance by the main door of the hotel. As soon as you enter the small corridor to walk towards Reception, the smell hits you! Other than that, the hotel was good, rooms were spacious and there were nice amenities supplied. Staff only had limited English, so...

"The Front desk and Concierge were amazing and set me up for an amazing Japan Adventure"

"This is a great hotel, the staff are awesome, the service was great. The breakfast was very good. I would totally recommend this place."

"This small hotel is really cute. The rooms are clean, equipped and super nice! The staff was really helpful and polite. They have breakfast and they have 2 light meals during the day which were good and perfect for what they are. Really happy with the property and the experience. I loved the bathtub with view on the interior garden."

"Very cool hotel, great breakfast and the staff is amazing, we had a great time staying there"

"Customer service was excellent."

"Uniquely quiet, Zen-like aesthetic. Perfect location in a great neighborhood. Beautiful."

"We absolutely loved this hotel! Fantastic location that was out of the busyness of the main districts but in close walking proximity to convenience stores, restaurants, places for coffee and breakfast, and of course the castle and the imperial palace grounds. Great rooms - such a fantastic size for Japan, which was great for our crawling ten month old who wanted to crawl and pull himself up on everything. Staff were lovely and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again."
