"As a budget hotel, this one is reasonably good, it is close to subway, bus stations and many restaurants. It lacks of laundry facilities, the nearest coin laundry is 5min walk away. The room is a bit smaller than the last hotel I stayed but in-room facilities are sufficient."

"This hotel was a masterclass in how to run a hotel. Clean rooms, a large powerful shower with superb water pressure and a very large and comfortable bed. The air con was easy to work. The bathroom had considerable amounts of shelving and there was plenty of hanging space. A fridge in the room is always great. So many hotels don’t do the basics well - this one certainly does and it was amazing. Great location near a 7-11 and train station too. A perfect base for exploring Kyoto and a fabulous breakfast too. Five stars 🌟"

"Stayed at Ben’s guesthouse for 3 days and two night. The washer and dryer was a really good addition, the space was clean and it was nice to have amenities like the kitchen. It was fairly a decent size for three people but the only struggle was the four flight of stairs but besides that I had a wonderful stay!"
