"Stayed in the cabin. It was comfortable and clean. Nice view of the ocean. The staff was helpful. It would have been better if there were instruction on how to use some of the amenities."

"Generally this is a good place to stay. The view is fantastic and you can see the bay from the balcony of the room directly. The only issue is that there is no AC. Therefore, it is not a good idea to live here if the weather is too hot. The facilities are a little bit old but it still well deserves the price. If you are pursuing quality-price ratio, this is a very good choice."

"Loved the view of Coconut Island and being able to explore near by. Didn't like the ripped/stained curtains for the lanai. Restraunt was excellent. Vending machine gave us warm sodas and ice machine didnt work majority of the time for the floor we were on."

"Definitely stay here! The rooms are lovely as are the hosts. It's right on the water, a short walk or drive to the main shops & farmers market. Also a short drive to many lovely beaches. The breakfast was incredible - and they even accomodated gluten-free. Really great overall, great deal and we'll stay again if on Hilo!"

"Flies in the barn was an extreme nuisance. Uncut grass from cabin 5 to the barn was annoying. The falls was a amazing. However, be extremely careful if you take the short hike because the uneven rocks is a challenge especially if it rain (9 out 10 times it'll rain). Despite that, Jordan, Abby, & Cady (not in order) was top of line from hospitality, interaction, professionalism, tidiness, etc. & they wasn't ugly :-)"
