"While the place is a bit dated, the place has been kept clean. The private onsen is great. We never had to wait for long to use it. It is located literally right outside Gora station and it convenient for us to start the Hakone loop with the cable car. We didn't need to explore dining places around as breakfast and dinner have been included and these have been great."

"All good except strict checking checkout times without any luggage holding facilities. This makes it very hard to plan your trip and sightseeing if you have large luggage."

"It has a quality 4-star feel. We did the 40-minute private onsen and had one in our room. The buffet, including all you can drink, had a good variety of Japanese and Western options. It’s close to the pirate ship and ropeway if interested. Otherwise, it’s remote, but that was important to us. We’ll be back."

"Quite location with a grocery store nearby. Rooms are quite dark and could be cleaner, especially the sofa and in room onsen would deserve an upgrade. Plenty of food for dinner and breakfast, however, we would prefer less but better quality. Onsen with the forest view was nice."
