"This hotel is well situated close to a tube station. It provides a wonderful buffet breakfast with a healthy array of options. It radiates historic charm and a welcoming atmosphere. "

"This was a very disappointing stay due to the renovations that was taking place during the two days I was there and fire alarm mishap. I was advised when I arrived that the water would be turned off from 12:00 to 5:00PM both days due to renovations, rooms were not as viewed on website. Rooms were run down and dark. Restaurant closed due to renovation. Fire alarm went off and on during 2nd night for over an hour due to malfunction that was not fixable until maintenance arrived. All guests were told that they would get a refund for that night but when I pursued my refund they would not honor or grant my refund. Only one elevator operating and no safe exit if it was a true fire as stairwell blocked off due to construction. One positive note staff were friendly and were accommodating when I requested to check in early."

"Simple problem of a faulty TV made challenging by inexperienced staff and no manager. Glossy pictures not reflected in facilities. Kind but ill equipped staff working. Didn’t match expectation and thus only stayed 1hour before checking out and booking elsewhere. No refund given"
