"On arrival, we decided to get lunch whilst waiting for our room to be ready. The manager of the restaurant was coughing and sputtering all over the food and drinks. Did not cover her mouth or try to be discreet. Her staff under her were reserved and not smiling. On top of this, we had spring rolls, in which the sauce had plastic fibres throughout from a pastry brush or the like. "The Hotel was very well kept together and updated amenities. Family friendly with a great pool, not too big. The hotel itself was a little far from the Malls so it meant it wasn't as busy, but you have to take a taxi/Grab to get there since it's isolated.The staff was very welcoming and friendly. "

"Centrally located,easy to find not far from bus station and Chinatown. Lots of choice for food closeby. One chinese restaurant serves beer on same street if that is important consideration. "Good, quiet low-end resort, away from other resorts. Needs a refresh. Limited menu, has selection of day trips. Small private beach with good snorkeling 50m out at med/high tide. Very limited roads on Redang mean you can only scooter to Turtle Bay (where they hand feed turtles for the tourists). Had a great local bbq squid & tuna over a 44gal drum there."

"Very basic place to stay but nice and clean. You get free water everyday. The bathroom is very basic, i wasn't expecting 5* so i wasn't disappointed with what we got. Short walk to the beach from the room we had. Trees over head full of fruit bats that screech during the night and early morning but not bad enough to disturb us too much. Overall happy with our stay. "
