"Great location that felt safe and secure. Bed was nice too."

"Excellent"

"The hotel rooms are a little aged, however staff and outer property are amazing."

"Clean sheets. Bathrooms a bit dirty"

"The hotel is on a flat part of Grassmarket. The Saturday outdoor market is right across the street, as is the hop- hop-off bus and at least 6 pubs and some simple eateries. Victoria street is a 3 min. walk. I loved the location. The hotel is well maintained and you can get lots of towels or tea from the cleaning staff, who are always around. If you want the hotel pub or pool, you’d have to go to the sister Apex hotel. I liked the quietness of this one. Only problem is the corridors and rooms...

"The hotel was very welcoming and had unique features such as a table tennis table and pool table. There is a gym plus the option of yoga classes. The room was decorated in an interesting industrial style with witty local touches. The bed was so comfortable we slept so well. The heating/AC was good plus it was possible to open the window and get fresh air. The shower products were heavenly so it felt like a spa. The restaurant served excellent food with the best breakfast I have ever...

"Location was awesome. In the middle of things. Walking distance to the castle, stops of tours, restaurants, shopping. Room’s temperature was weird. The air conditioner would turn off by itself. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room or some ice machines in the floor. Archie was helpful giving me tips on tours and restaurants. I was also able to do a couple of hours of early check in which was great. I would definitely return here when I return to Scotland."

"It was a nice stay."

"Right next door to EICC"

"Great location to catch city transit, bus was right outside the door very convenient."
