"Perfect for a one night stay, clean and comfortable"

"The hotel was beautiful, clean, and the location was safe. Multiple amenities offered. We had to make several changes to the itinerary for our work trip and the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again!"

"I visited Southern Palms Beach Resort for 2 nights with my wife after a 5-day safari. It took only 10-15 minutes from Ukunda (Diani) Airport. I saw a Carrefour on the way to the hotel. The beach was beautiful, and the staff were all very kind. The pool was also clean and spacious, with plenty of beach chairs both by the pool and on the beach. All food and drinks were included in the all-inclusive plan, and there were several restaurants and bars available, some of which were open 24 hours. The...

"This was paradise. My first time in Kenya and Africa in general and this was a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful, immaculate. The food was so wonderful. The best part are the staff who were very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my time here and would not mind coming back. Thank you for a wonderful time! Till we meet again"

"Everything was perfect apart from the slow internet in Room 812 that i was not expecting in a 5 Star Hotel"

"I have stayed at the Serena several times over the past 20 years. In fact, of the 80 countries I have visited the Serena in Mombasa is still my favorite place in the world. The staff, including front dest staff (namely, Althuman) and the wait staff are outstanding. Many are long-term staff who have obviously been well-trained in customer service. The Maisha Spa is always worth a visit. The property is beginning to show signs of aging so I hope there are plans to upgrade it, while not loosing its...

"Staffing was not good at all. No help from Staffing no greeting."

"Gorgeous hotel with breakfast buffet, very friendly staff and great amenities. It’s not too far from the airport and was relatively central to everything. The staff were able to upgrade our room after sharing we were on our honeymoon which was very kind of them. Highly recommend Gem Forest, I would definitely go back."

"The lush greenery around the property is appealing. However, there was confusion over the reservation, which took a while to sort out. Gaining access to the room, we discovered there were no towels. It took us three calls to reception and an hour and a half wait before receiving the towels."

"I had such a great trip there. the resort is lovely and well managed. give full points for cleanliness, friendly and helpful staffs. the private beach is wonderful as well as the security made me feel safe all time of my stay. One thing I'd like to suggest the hotel, you'd probably find ways to relay the water pipeline as currently the water pipeline laid over the roof making guests' shower during the day time is impossible. it was hot like a boiling water. I was arriving there in late afternoon...
