"Perfect for a one night stay, clean and comfortable"

"Staff was very professional and helpful."

"Restaurant has very limited options. Everything else is fantastic. Clean. Quiet. Well maintained. Friendly staff. Lovely pool. Do not care for the smoking that is permitted near the pool. Seems to be common in Kenya."

"Everything was perfect apart from the slow internet in Room 812 that i was not expecting in a 5 Star Hotel"

"I have stayed at the Serena several times over the past 20 years. In fact, of the 80 countries I have visited the Serena in Mombasa is still my favorite place in the world. The staff, including front dest staff (namely, Althuman) and the wait staff are outstanding. Many are long-term staff who have obviously been well-trained in customer service. "Standards you would expect from IHG Crowne Plaza group. Service and offerings good. F&B service a little slow by European/US standards."

"Staffing was not good at all. No help from Staffing no greeting."

"Gorgeous hotel with breakfast buffet, very friendly staff and great amenities. It’s not too far from the airport and was relatively central to everything. The staff were able to upgrade our room after sharing we were on our honeymoon which was very kind of them. Highly recommend Gem Forest, I would definitely go back."

"The lush greenery around the property is appealing. However, there was confusion over the reservation, which took a while to sort out. Gaining access to the room, we discovered there were no towels. It took us three calls to reception and an hour and a half wait before receiving the towels."

"I had such a great trip there. the resort is lovely and well managed. give full points for cleanliness, friendly and helpful staffs. the private beach is wonderful as well as the security made me feel safe all time of my stay. One thing I'd like to suggest the hotel, you'd probably find ways to relay the water pipeline as currently the water pipeline laid over the roof making guests' shower during the day time is impossible. it was hot like a boiling water. I was arriving there in late afternoon...
