"This was recommended to us by our tour guides in Japan and it is a fantastic hotel. The food in the restaurant caters to every background and everything we tried was delicious. The hotel is older but has heritage and a great vibe because of it, and is very clean. The service was excellent as well. I went for a run one morning in the surrounding area and it is very quiet and enjoyable for a morning run or walk. Highly recommended in a very quiet "town" of Hakone."

"Great breakfast options. Japanese, western or buffet. I chose western. Premium fresh fruits, pastries, famous Hokkaido milk, different juices and many more. The outdoor onsen is beautiful. Our room with lake view, we could see the lakeside fireworks at night and beautiful sunrise in the morning. The best of all, they let us check in early since our room is ready.
