"During our 5-day stay, the toilet in our room clogged every single time it was used. This was not a one-time inconvenience—we had to call maintenance more than seven times to address the issue. Despite repeated visits, the problem was never permanently resolved. Eventually, we were forced to stop using the restroom in our room altogether and rely on public restrooms throughout the resort. This situation was not only unacceptable but extremely inconvenient. What made this experience even more...

"The over all experience was ok. Check in time was 3. We waited an hour and a half for our room. We are not very adventurous when it comes to foods, lunch and dinner options were limited. The spaghetti at the Italian restaurant was very good. The swim up room was great! The pool was massive, plenty of room to move around. The room was clean."

"Cannot recommend this resort enough. It is absolutely beautiful! Staff was amazing. It’s the best food I’ve ever had at an AI, both in the variety and in the quality. It is worth upgrading the platinum just for the butler service alone. Glaister and Rajuan were our butlers and we will be requesting them when we go back."

"Pros - Perfect weather, helpful friendly staff, beautiful hotel and property, perfect amount of walking, lots of lobby seating to relax, wonderful beach with calm sea, abundance of food at the buffet, jerk chicken at the grill is good, tonnes of beach chairs, 5+ pools spread over the property, good evening entertainment, amazing photo staff and reasonable prices, complimentary big bottles of water and fridge drinks, convenient on site parking. "Travelled with my bestie and our 2 boys (11y) to Riu Negril for 4 days. Had a great trip. Room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Beach was 8/10 had seaweed and seen a stingray one day. Food was 7/10 and drinks were 5/10 as they were watered down. Entertainment was excellent and staff remembered our names. Shout out to Shaq, Quban, Shin Shin (sp?) and the photographer, Alex. Will be back. "

"The food was great! The staff was friendly and polite. There are some areas that can use some attention (we had a few things in our room that suffered from wear and tear), but by no means a deal breaker. The entertainment was great, and there is a lot to do without leaving the resort. We did though, and enjoyed every minute. We will go back and will most likely stay at the Riu. Lovely vacation!!"

"I had an ocean view suite which was excellent and spacious. The staff was very helpful and friendly, JJ and Michael lifeguards between building 9 and 11 and Marvin concierge for building 10 were amazing. Grounds and room very clean, however no elevators 3rd floor wasn’t bad but if stairs are trouble for you request 1st floor. No ice machines anywhere so if you need ice your at the mercy of the pool bars which close at 5pm or have to walk it to the lobby before the last bar closes at 1am....

"Resort needs updating. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, our curtains were not on track properly and very difficult to open/close. Food in the Samurai Restaurant and the Italian Restaurant was mediocre. We did find a good variety of offerings in the Buffet and chose to eat out on the patio for breakfast and dinner which was quiet and relaxing. The service in the buffet was good. Excellent desserts and omelettes too."

"Overall the property was great! Beach is amazing and staff was very friendly. Food was very good as far as all inclusives go. Getting reservations for the restaurants is difficult and the process to book for more than 2 people a little wonky. Be prepared to be frustrated there but not a deal breaker for us. We will go back simply for that beach."
