"We stayed in a room with two queen beds in Yavapai West. The room was clean and comfortable. We did have wifi in the room, which we considered a bonus, as that's not a guarantee. Easy to park right in front of the room. Easy walk over to the main lodge, but we preferred to drive as it was icy and very cold (early January). It is VERY DARK at night, so bring a small flashlight with you. The gentleman at check-in was very friendly and made great suggestions on where to go for sunrise & sunset viewing - he even drew maps, so we didn't get lost. Food in the lodge was okay - it's doable, just don't have high expectations. We did not visit the Grocery Store, but it is right beside the main lodge at Yavapai. We did send postcards from the post office, beside the grocery store - that was easy. All in all, a great place to say, solo traveler or travelling with family - highly recommend, and I would stay here again."

"Large 2 Queen room. Pros: clean. Excellent towels. Comfortable beds. Attractive. HEARTED pool ! Really! Beautiful gorounds. Secure gates. .when not left open. ... Cons: rediculous coffee maker and poor coffee flavor. No plug in locations for cells. Bring a wall plug type. Strange box plugged in next to bed" Do Not Unplug" sign. No coffee in lobby. "
