"The check in was terrible, we got there around 11:00 and pre-checked in at the desk and they said they would text us when our room was ready. We went to lunch ran errands etc, never heard from them, went back at 4:00, room was cleaned but not inspected so they called someone. Waited another 50 minutes before we asked again and was told it still wasn’t inspected so it was now 5:00, an hour past check in time. The bedding and things were clean but the rooms in the north building are old and need to be updated, old disgusting carpet, bad fixtures and just overall kind of falling apart etc. The pool in the north building was ok, could have been cleaner and the swim up bar that is no longer functioning was gross with its standing and junk floating in the water. The “water park” was nice and the wait staff was nice as well up there. There is a lot of construction going on so maybe these additions will make this a better resort in the coming months/years for the price. "
