"The staff at the reception was really nice. On our first night (3rd floor) we heard a lot of noise from above (like a cat or something). We couldn’t sleep at all but thanks to the staff we could move to the 2nd floor.

Vor meinen Zimmer hing der lüfter der klimaanlage vom nachbarzimmer und wenn die an ging war die so laut das man nicht schlafen konnte. Und wenn die Muslemen früh und abend ihr gejaule los legten war auch nicht schön .Für ein durchgangshotel geht es aber für länger würde ich es...

"The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The staff were all fantastic…always so friendly and helpful. The hotel has several pools that get cleaned daily. They made up our room and provided water, coffee, creamer and sugar daily. They can also help you rent a scooter, delivered to the hotel. The only thing I could suggest is that they have their fitness room equipment serviced and perhaps add a few more sets of dumbbells."

"We loved our room and the view it had. Their bathrooms are the kind you wish you have in your dream home!
Their staff is extremely friendly and kind. The Olympic pool was fantastic, although we didn’t spent as much time there since we were exploring the famous beaches in the area.
The highlight from the breakfast is the fruit selection and that they make eggs to order in any style of your choosing.
It’s a car ride to Ao Nang and there aren’t many things to do around the hotel.
Note that hotel gives you beach access through a beach club across the street. They only provide bean bags and there are better beaches in the area but this beach was still good for a walk.
Overall we loved Varana and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. It was a great find and a highlight of our trip."

"Charming little boutique hotel off the beaten track. The staff are so attentive and with the small number of rooms you really feel like you’re staying with a wonderful family. The food was also exceptional and reasonably priced. We struggled to get around a little as we don’t drive and didn’t want to rent scooters, but we were perfectly happy just exploring the local area and enjoying the wonderful setting of the hotel.
