Our stay was amazing! Upon check-in our room was upgraded at no additional charge to the Panorama Sea-View room and that did not disappoint. The view was breathtaking and the room itself was perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful and goes the extra mile to make you feel special. Everything about our stay was perfect!

I found the breakfast area was a bit tricky to find staying on floor 1. A lot of steps so if you are elderly may be difficult. Otherwise nice hotel

The property is amazing. Clean and beautiful surroundings. Better than the pictures online. The view from our room was so perfect. The breakfast buffet was so good, with so many delicious options, and the staff here were the friendliest I've ever encountered anywhere. Loved it here so much and will recommend to everyone.

This property was in the perfect location, in the middle of shopping, the beach and several restaurants! The views were amazing, awesome pool and very attentive staff! It was a bit confusing finding our tower and which elevators to take, but we would definitely stay here again!

Overall incredible stay.

This was such a beautiful place. We had the rooms that overlooked the rock cliffs and it really was something we won’t forget! The bar/food service up at the infinity pool was always top tier and the pool itself had a view that was unbelievable. The breakfast buffet was also one of the best I’ve ever had. Very fresh and a lot to pick from! The beds were comfortable, staff was so kind, one of the best stays of my life. Truly.

Me, my husband and 8 month child loved the stay. We upgraded to the Sea View room and loved it, the spa on the balcony was perfect for bathing the little one. Great service and good buffet. Eateries and convenience surrounds the property. We will be back, thank you Avani.

Excellent hotel with a great location and service

Rooftop pool & bar was superb. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. Service was friendly. If you want to opt for an excellent hotel with a great location, you should take this hotel. The view from the infinity pool is unparalleled. We even had a bathtub on our balcony! We stayed longer than originally planned because we enjoyed the hotel so much.

Fantastic property! Beautiful resort with several pools and very happy with our stay. Location is mildly inconvenient since you'd need to take a tuk tuk to get into town but that's pretty easy since you can get one just outside the hotel. Some minor issues for a 5 star hotel like the room-service app did not work for us and keeping towels available at the pools.

My seventh stay at the Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort was marked by the resort's excellent management and the professionalism of the staff. Every interaction was handled with care, reflecting their commitment to guest satisfaction. While I was slightly disappointed by the discontinued availability of the private beach, this was a minor issue in the grand scheme of things. The resort's location is exceptional, nestled amidst a vibrant area teeming with restaurants and shops, adding convenience and local flavor to the stay. Moreover, the beach is just a leisurely 10-minute walk away, making it easy to indulge in the seaside ambiance whenever the mood strikes. In summary, the resort offers a delightful blend of attentive service, prime location, and comfortable amenities, ensuring a memorable stay in Krabi.

We had an amazing pool villa, with views of the ocean. The service was top notch. The room was well appointed and comfortable. A bit of a hike up but it was fine. We did room service several times and the food was high quality, I recommend the Green curry, fruit and fried rice. We enjoyed exploring a new place. My two sons were happy it was near Mcdonald’s. lively place. only thing is next time i would enjoy being on the beach, here it’s a walk to beach. the private pool was incredible.

There appears to be a strong smell coming from probably the drains. Some rooms smell more than others. The bed was very hard. Staff were excellent and nearly always friendly. Cleaning could have been done daily, as opposed to upon request. Upper level pool was awesome, but the sun chairs urgently need to be replaced. Oh and 10/10 breakfast curries.

We had an amazing stay at Avani! The staff were friendly, helpful, and we loved the room, spectacular view, and amenities. Most rooms (from what I could tell) have a hot tub on the balcony which wasn’t advertised but was great! The breakfast buffet had an amazing variety and the food both there and at the restaurant was excellent. Our only complaint would be that the shower room by the pool isn’t at the same level as the rest of the hotel. We checked out in the morning but didn’t fly until the evening so we had inquired about showering by the pool before our flight. We were told we were welcome to do so, but when we went to use them there were no towels (they had said they’d be available), no shampoo, only cold water, and only a small drip of water at that. It then took us about 20 minutes to get towels and shampoo from the hotel staff. This was unfortunately a disappointing end to what had overall been a really lovely stay.

We stayed at Avani Resort from February 9th to 13th, 2025, and had a lovely experience. The resort is beautifully maintained with stunning beach views. It is conveniently located on a lively street with plenty to do, including shops and a water taxi station within walking distance. The staff at the pool area and spa were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed a wonderful massage at the spa and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing experience. A word of caution regarding the WiFi: it asks for your email to connect, and after I connected, my email account was blocked, with multiple unauthorized attempts to access it. Thankfully, I had security measures in place, but I had to disconnect from the WiFi. I suggest using a SIM card for internet access instead. The buffet was good, though breakfast could use a little improvement. One small suggestion: it would be nice if there was a designated area for smokers at the rooftop. We don’t smoke, and I personally get migraines from cigarette or cannabis smoke, which is quite common in Krabi. A separate smoking area would make the experience more enjoyable for everyone. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Avani Resort and would happily recommend it to others.

HORRIBLE. The place catfished me - the room looked lovely online and had a view of the ocean. My room had a ton of street noise and a view of what looked to be a strip club (pic attached). The air conditioning didn’t work and somehow my room was hotter than it was outside (91F / 33C). I abhor this hotel. For the first time ever I left my fully prepaid nonrefundable reservation early to stay somewhere where I wouldn’t practically have a heat stroke every time I tried to sleep. Obviously they didn’t offer any sort of refund or apology. It was also wildly oversold - when I tried to use the infinity pool it was practically standing room only. Not even space to lay a towel down on the floor around the pool. Avoid this place like the plague.

I love Krabi! I will try to return yo this Gem! Great location to the beach and walking distance to the night market (about a 20 min walk to night market and five minutes to the beach. The food was great, the staff so friendly!
