Staff was super welcoming and attentive. Rooms could use a little updating but you cannot beat the price and the location of this hotel. A quick 2 min Grab ride or 15 min walk will get you right in the heart of Ao Nang Beach/ shopping and endless restaurants. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic and worth every penny!

The hotel rooms do need a renovation urgently. The common areas are great, fairly new and well maintained, but the rooms are not. Mine had a damp smell in the entrance, stains in all walls, shower with missing tray and holes in the wall, standing lamp was fully broken, towels quite worn out. Breakfast could do with more fruit variety, and also ripen fruit. Staff was super friendly and helpful though. Specially the tour seller, Palm. Common to Thailand, but you will need to walk on the road until you get to where the footpaths are.

The staff was so helpful and friendly, the breakfast buffet was great, and the rooms were nice. Loved the pool, and the beach is about a 10 minute walk. We loved Hula Hula and hated to leave!

Absolutely loved Hula Hula! It was everything we imagined it to be and looked exactly like the photos online. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to take care of us! Gorgeous pool area and breakfast buffet was delicious!!! Only negative was that there were a lot of rude other guests, but of course that is nothing to do with Hula Hula. Can’t wait to come back!

Place was lovely and had a useful shuttle bus as it is up a hill. The bus isn’t the most reliable and only runs certain times though. You can eat in the pool which is a bit unhygienic as there was rice floating about. But rooms lovely and good pool otherwise. Bar was sxspensive

Good stay in Ao Nang

Nice that they provide free water and you can refill your water bottle. Good breakfast spread with nice selection of fruits. Comfortable bed and clean room. Good location (not long to walk to Ao Nang beach). There is free shuttle to some points of interest. Not happy they took away our towels without replacement. We had to ask a few times to provide us room towels. Overall a nice hotel in a good location.

We arrived and were checked into a room covered in mold. We were able to change to another room but did see that another couple was checked into the same filthy room. The hallway leading up to it was moldy with peeling paint. There were rollaway beds lining the hallway as well. Breakfast was ok but there were flies and bees swarming the juice. There was lipstick on three coffee cups in a row. This properly was at one time very nice but it is limping along now. The pool was great and the cleanest part of the property. The staff were amazing , helpful and very kind. Do not stay here unless you have very low expectations. Again the staff was extremely nice and helpful.

We at such a great welcome from the staff at Hula Hula Resort and especially from Toon the person who did such a wonderful job to check us in and make us welcome on our first visit to Krabi. Nothing is to much trouble for any of the staff. Beautiful pool area, great gym available, breakfast is good and plenty available, any tour is available to purchase at the hotel and only a 15 minute walk from the beach. This is our 7th hotel stay in Thailand and the Hula Hula Resort is far th best we've stayed in. We will return.

Pool area was incredible. Really set the property above others. A bit of a walk to beach and busy area. If you didn’t want to walk cabs are available. Breakfast buffet was great. Staff very helpful. Room air conditioner was not working well. Overall a good stay.

Hula Hula the Best.

This was the 7th hotel we stayed in on our tour around Thailand and I must say this was by far the best hotel, it was so good at Hula Hula we booked a second week stay. If there was a downside it would be that some days the internet was weak, also there is no comfortable relaxing area to sit and enjoy an evening drink, all the seating in the restaurant and in the reception area have hard wooden seating, if there were softer padded seating people would stay longer and spend more.. Great staff throughout especially Toon at reception who gave us such a great welcome and was always ready to help..

Ok for price. We had a pool access room and pool was great. Room very tired (tv didn’t work, shower fittings broken and moldy etc). Room service was inconsistent and didn’t happen one day. Breakfast ok but very noisy being next to road. Lost our plastic key card and they wanted 300 baht to issue a new one - which seemed like a complete scam as most hotels do for free (luckily we found ours in the end)

Overall it was safe and comfortable. Garden street view is very loud, not for light sleepers. Had some issues with the cleanliness of our room at check in and housekeeping throughout the stay. Didn’t give toilet paper one day and never changed our bathroom trash. Some amenities like a hairdryer or cups in the room were never provided. Reception hung up the phone on me when calling the day before check in to ask a question. But the pool area and outside is beautiful and it’s an easy walk to the Main Street and ao nang beach!

The staff was very kind, friendly, and always around to help. Unfortunately, the cleanliness did not live up to our expectations and room service did not come around until 4 or 5 pm if at all. The towels, walls, and ceilings were stained. The shuttle service is a great offer, however it did not come to pick us up from the beach as scheduled. We waited for 20 minutes at the pick up spot and eventually had to walk back.

It could have been a great stay at the hotel.. but the pictures are actually overselling the product itself. The outdoors are nice and well maintained, however the indoors area needs an important refreshment... Also in our room, we had a leak coming out from the sink because there was simply no sink seal.. water spilled all over the room.. anyway, the staff is really kind and they provided, a part from that, a good experience overall.

Had a fabulous time at hula resort. The staff really care and want you to have a good stay. Our initial issues were dealt with by the manager immediately. She was amazing, friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is tired in places and could do with a lick of paint but it's still has a certain charm and peaceful feel to it. Breakfast was plentiful. Vegetarian options for me. Eggs station. Traditional hot Thai options. Room service was good but cocktails were tasteless. Housekeeping could be improved. We requested our room be serviced earlier in the day but they were rigid with the time. They would only clean after 4pm. This the time we would shower and cool off from the day. Our bed was so comfortable I slept so well. Haven't slept this well in years! We Would definitely return in a heartbeat as any issues you may have will be dealt with to ensure your stay is a pleasant one

Bit run down, but fine

Staff were helpful and respectful, if a bit impersonal (and probably overworked). The pool area was nice, clean, and well maintained. The hotel itself felt very conservative and traditional, as well as dated. The room was run down - think scuff marks on the walls, paint chipping, smelled a bit musty when we came in. It had obviously been cleaned, which was a plus, but it was nowhere near spotless. The A/C had one setting - very cold - which we struggled with. I don't think any of the rooms have actual ocean view so don't bother with that. The breakfast was basic, not tasty but not horrible, and didn't have many provisions for vegetarian or gluten-free diets. The location was decent, about a ten minute downhill walk to the "main strip" and quiet, which we enjoyed. Basically, don't expect anything fancy - but for the price it's ok.

Not professional dealing and no sign of communication in English for a 4 star hotel 4.Lift wasn't functional for sometime one day 5. Renovation interruption- some of the rooms were being renovated including the one opposite to ours, stuff outside and smell of colour all over the room entrance 6. Cleanliness in shower and toilet is very much questionable 7.Free shuttle is not as simple as it advertised, needs to be transparent 8. Our main door lock was hard to open from inside, jammed 9. No shampoo first 2days and only one shower cap was provided each time for two of us. This shouldn't be experienced in a 4-star hotel. Only good view and a good swimming pool cant be enough to justify their poor maintenance

I am a vegetarian(no egg) and found absolutely nothing to eat at breakfast. There were no options except fruit, oatmeal or corn flakes. I requested to borrow knife to cut fruits I got from local market but they refused to provide knife. For a person on holiday these small things are important.
