"We had a wonderful stay overall. Customer service and cleanliness are my top priorities when traveling, and this hotel delivered on both. The staff was consistently friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Ordering food was quick and easy, and one thing that really stood out was that the hotel even arranged our small flight from Belize City to San Pedro, which made our travel experience much more convenient.

"My family of four had a wonderful time at the Pelican Reef Villa. Elsa and the bartenders were wonderful. They helped us to arrange everything from transportation to other reservations. The resort was beautiful and well maintained. We had a 3 bedroom villa that gave us a beautiful view of the pool and the ocean. All the people that we met in Belize were wonderful. "Very central (5 min golf cart ride) to main area of stores and restaurants. Two min walk to marine terminal.
Room was spacious and very clean. Staff was extremely helpful to me as a first time visitor to Belize and solo traveler. I didn’t eat at the hotel as I was interested in eating at local spots that I’ve seen on social media.

"This one bedroom was directly over the beach area and the smell of the sargassum took over! It also needs to be updated! Older property on the island. The unit was very basic. Definitely call ahead of time to see what unit you’re paying for. When it rained the ceiling in the bedroom started to leak but they did refund me for that night. That was my last night in that unit. The kitchen had what they called, “crazy ants.” That really bothered me! They did come and spray and put some ant trap down…...

"We visited Orchid Bay in late June, and had a wonderful time. Staff were uniformly knowledgeable, helpful, attentive and thorough. Our beach-view casita was lovely, fully-equipped and very comfortable. Food at the restaurant was plentiful and varied (even for folks who have some eating restrictions, as we do). We took advantage of a variety of activities and tours, enjoyed them all, and felt that all were definitely worth our time and money.
