"My daughter picked Ikebukuro this time, so we checked out another busy spot in Tokyo, though it’s not quite on the level of Shibuya or Shinjuku. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. They even upgraded my room, which made for a really comfortable stay. Great amenities, right across from Ikebukuro Station, and the staff were helpful. Having a few 7-Elevens downstairs made everything really convenient for the whole family. The hotel's standards are solid; the room was actually pretty big for downtown Tokyo, and it was kept very clean, with a nice view of the city skyline every day."

"The room size is fairly standard for a Japanese hotel. I liked that the bed was raised and there was room to put our suitcases underneath. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the heart of Shinjuku, which sucks a little after a long day of walking, but is still convenient. Late check in is accommodated; we were able to check in at almost 11:30 pm. Overall a nice place to sleep and organize all your shopping"
